Sky Watch - Near Sundown

I had planned and hoped to go out early this morning to see the sun rise and to post my picture here. But, when I looked out the window, all I could see was a light snow falling in a grey sky. Perhaps I will be luckier next week. In the meantime, please enjoy this photo I took near sundown on one spectacular day at the end of February.

To see other wonderful skies from around the world, be sure to visit Sky Watch Friday. Many thanks to Klaus and the SWF team.

Sorry this morning had not such great skies but I must add that the one you chose to show us instead is very lovely!

Good capture, that is the way I like to see snow, someplace else.

Lovely photo - it looks like a crisp, cold morning. Happy SWF!

Sometimes you have to reach back into the archives. I find more and more these days that I have so many photos unused, and sometimes I have "keepers" that I use again and again to highlight a point.

Very pretty shot with the shadowing. I enjoyed your other shots too of the deer and birds. Nice nature blog.
